Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Wee Waa High School, where opportunity, aspiration and care come together to nurture every student’s potential. We educate our students in a caring, inclusive and culturally respectful learning environment. I am proud to serve as Principal of a dedicated staff and vibrant student body, supported by an engaged local community.
Our school is situated in a dynamic rural community, underpinned by agriculture, and offers a broad curriculum designed to prepare students for tertiary education and workforce readiness. In addition to academic opportunities, we provide successful programs in Agriculture, Primary Industries, Manufacturing and Engineering, Retail, and Hospitality, catering to the unique needs and interests of our students.
At Wee Waa High School, we are committed to respecting and celebrating cultural diversity while fostering strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and technology. At the heart of our school is a culture of inclusivity, respect and high expectations. We believe every student has unique talents and the potential to thrive in a supportive and challenging environment.
We support students’ wellbeing through a caring welfare structure and encourage participation in extracurricular activities such as sport, creative arts, agriculture and STEM.
We are proud to have dedicated staff who set high expectations and ensure every student is empowered to become an agile, lifelong learner ready for a rapidly changing world. We invite you to explore our website and discover the opportunities that make Wee Waa High School a place where students flourish.
