Lessons Learned:

1. How to delegate jobs to team members

3. How to build a robot with mentors present
4. .Programming was a new skill as none of this had been done at school before
5. How to hold and run events at school eg launch
6. .It's a very supportive network of people in FIRST robotics
7. Always have a plan B – multiple redundancies
8. There is an incredibly large amount of paperwork to travel and participate in competition
